Why in this instance is 1 Yao and no Yi? Is it something to do with phone numbers?

really cool lesson! i wanted to download the dialogue, but it won't work. i haven't been able to download any actually, since i joined a few weeks ago. is this for everyone atm, or is it just me? =S

I'm currently on my free month (or whatever it is) - i'm wondering whether at the end of this, firstly will the lessons i've bookmarked still be stored on that useful page? or do you have to pay for bookmarking? and secondly, is the mp3 download only available on paid subscriptions? thanks. =] (i must sound so stingy. but i'm only 13 and i can't afford to upgrade; i would otherwise, honest ;])

hey i wondered where lesson 7 of this intro series has gone? it wasn't in my schedule of lessons =[ can anyone tell me the tags so i can find it? i'm going away for a couple of days but i'd really appreciate it. Helena xx

I've been learning on another course for about 6 months but i wanted to start the newbie course here just because it seems useful all the same! Definately it's a very accesible lesson, both Jenny and Ken seem welcoming to me =] About the writing of characters, i use a program called Estroke http://www.eon.com.hk/estroke/ You have to structure your own learning and be self disciplined but i find it incredibly helpful. Finally, thanks ken and Jenny for this site. I only found it a few days ago but I can see it's gonna be really useful and fun!
