Agreed. What struck me as a little different though was [and I may have misinterpreted this ] that saying no please or thankyou seemed preferable and less distant.

What's your secret? Better homes and gardens, reality tv,soapies, etc can be pretty stiff competition for many.

If you did look at the Tibetan marathon,I'm not sure if you're close to the Rockies or not ,but I believe training at altitude prior would help.

Thanks.I thought Henning was right [btw thanks henning for filling in newcomers ] as for some reason I had a notion that CPod had been going for 3yrs in September.I must have read/heard that somewhere.I was just looking for an explanation and probably phrased it funny.I have noticed with all the comments sections that they start around that time and was led to believe/came to the conclusion that previous comments were left out when new versions of CPod came out.Now that you mention it ,I had also noticed previously that N+F mustn't have been going since the start as the number isn't up around 160 which it would be if it had been weekly from the start. But the date stamps have confused me ,as has the welcome message. Thanks again for helping set me straight.

I am a little confused about the origins of CPod and would love to know. The news and features "Welcome to Chinese Pod" lists that it was first published on May 19,2005 and has that you were one of the hosts.I believe that you have been involved with CPod for a long time now ,but that you were not there at the start. So am I right in guessing that the original "Welcome to Chinese Pod" was published on May 19,2005 but that the current version was recorded at a later date [being the date which you joined...which was when?].
Now henning lists the date of the first lesson as 5th September 2005.Was there really such a gap between the welcome and the first lesson? I know some of the old lessons were deleted [and thus the missing numbers].Were some also re-recorded? If so,which is the first lesson currently available that wasn't re-recorded.I know none of this is particularly important to the overall objective here, but it would be interesting to get some insight into the journey.Just wish I'd discovered the programme at the start.

hehe. This reminds me of the movie "Hoodwinked" which was a very clever and funny reinterpretation of the red riding hood story.
