August 11, 2011 at 3:29 PMThe 4th set of expansion exercises is for practicing 'nàixīn', but sometimes it appears as 'nàixīndi' or as 'nàixīn di' without seeming to change the meaning, so for what is this 'di'?

August 10, 2011 at 7:48 PMIs there any significant difference in meaning between 'shàngwǎng' & 'wǎngshàng'? I've seen both as to go online & surf the net and wonder if there's supposed to be any substantial difference in how they're each used. Also, may 'qíquán' mean either extensive or complete according to context. It seems that way from the meanings given in this lesson. Of course, something can be extensive without being complete. That's why I ask. Xièxie nǐ le.

August 9, 2011 at 1:15 PMIs 'ge' the only measure word that uses the neutral tone? It seems this way as all the measure words I've come across so far have had either the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th tones. Xièxie to anyone that can tell me anything about this.
