Shouldn’t it be
我已經吃早飯了。
我昨天看電影了。
If a verb suffixed with v-了 has a one-syllable object, le typically occurs after the object. If the object is two or more syllables v-le occurs directly after the v.
我已經吃飯了
我吃了早飯了。
我今天早上上了中文課
Le is probably the hardest thing to master in Mandarin next to 把。

I really like learning Mandarin and sometimes my intense curiosity turns into annoyance or like the Chinese would say 麻煩。 You'd asked,why don't I use a dictionary. Every time I look in a dictionary for a word, there are usually 3-4 words, and I don't which ones Chinese people actually use. That's one of the difficulties of Chinese, there are so many words that I don't know which ones to choose from.
