June 10, 2011 at 2:29 PMThe translation to expansion sentence 11 seems to ignore the fact the Mandarin speaker is trying to say that even tears flowed out, not just that a cry came. Sorry, if some one has already made this point, but there are so many comments already I didn't want to take the time to read through them all of them first.

context is king and you have to be loosey-goosey.

June 10, 2011 at 7:35 PMIn the 12th exercise of the expansion the wrong English is given for huā. This is in the little pop-up box that also gives the simplified & traditional calligraphy for the term as well. Just an accident I guess. And now as I say zàijiàn, I will also say xièxie, yaomin8808, for the tip on shàngyún.
