This is an excellent lesson. Useful, challenging (for an ellie) and strangely poetic.
I find that because many Chinese have not traveled extensively, perhaps overly-simplified conversations about places and people occur frequently. I don't mean that in a condescending sense, but it is a great way for an elementary learner to jump right in and practice the vocabulary you can learn in these city sets.
