January 13, 2011 at 12:43 PMI thought 就 in the meaning "only" could only be used in front of nouns, and that 只 would be better in that sentence you corrected. Am I mistaken?

January 13, 2011 at 9:56 PMPerhaps the sentence I'm thinking of was different. I seem to remember a 只 case where my University teacher told me that it could not be replaced by 就 in that case. Or maybe it was the other way around - that 就 as an adjective can't be replaced by 只, like in ”她就二十岁“. Hmm ...
