February 06, 2009, 03:47 AMIn Shanghai, we hired a 'taxi' who was driving an unmarked van at the train station since we thought he might be cheaper. He had a hard time finding the hotel and charged us double what he said he would charge. Real taxi drivers were very good.

I didn't know Amber was a fellow Canadian. Her speech sounds completely normal. I've noticed people from Manitoba or Ontario are more likely to pronounce the 'ou' more like Hosers than the rest of us do. Who else at Cpod is Canadian?
