In addition to shenyajin's explanation about "要是不下雨的话" structure, you can also say “要是不下雨” or “不下雨的话” to save "linguistic" enegy. China is an "earth-friendly" state, as you might know!

You are right. You can say, 回这里来/回到这里来，回那里去/回到那里去 and 回哪里去？/回到哪里去？

回 and "return/go back" are the same semantically. You can use 回 when you are NOT returning to your own home. Let me show you a good example, the movie "Return to Oz" is translated as “回到绿野” in Chinese.

Please look at it this way. For example,
这本书比我相像的还好 = 这本书比我想像的（书）还好。
This book is better than (the book) I expected.
The noun "书" after the "的" is left out, just like "这本书是谁的（书）？ 那是我的（书）。"

I'm sorry for my late reply. Thanks to zhenlijiang's comments above, I've just noticed your answer, which was contemplated in an Onsen, to my previous question about noun gender in German.
