I would question the english in the title of this lesson. I know that this isn't englishpod but I still think it's important to clearly communicate the meaning of what you're saying before starting to translate. Sure the title is "New Year Cash", not "New Year's". You wouldn't say "Birthday's present", so why add the apostrophe s to New Year in this instance?.

After I'd been living in Beijing for a few months I started to get annoyed at always having to put my belongings through the metal detectors.  So I just ignored them and everyday walked right past the machines as if I'd never seen them - I never got questioned about it once. I recommend that everyone do that.
