老王 can be use to male。。not ladies。In Shanghai,to old ladies you may say 王阿姨,in northern China you could say 王婶儿wang she(n)-er,or even elder 老王太太。

btw,you can call someone 老师 when he/she isnt a teacher, but well-educated. That sounds nice to Chinese people.

If he/she is not that well-educated, call him/her 师傅 (shi1 fu).

  Never say 老王 to her。。。

If she is an old Shanghaiese lady, call her X a1 yi2 阿姨。It'll be much nicer~~

I am a Shanghaiese and also lived in northern China for many years。

tiao2 could be used for trousers, and it has no meaning of "pairs". Just Chinese people feel like saying that.

tiao2 can also be used for fish~两条鱼~ hah~

一定and 肯定 sometimes can be used alternatively. But when you say Are you sure? You must say 你肯定吗?NOT 你一定吗?

or 你肯定得去。 I am sure you will go there。

    你一定得去。 You must go there。

and the tone of these two sentences are different。。

or when you say “not very sure”  you should say不一定,NOT 不肯定。

This question is kinda tough。。Discuss with you guys later。。
