2. I need to use the phone at work. One on phone etiquette would be very useful
3. I don't know if you're allowed to do it, but one on swear words would be great!
4. When I'm in Beijing I notice people use so many sounds to express how something feels, in a really colourful way. But when I ask them what those sounds mean they have no way to articulate it, and I can't look it up.
- e.g. 这么多人 wuyangwuyang的！e.g. 土里土气了！e.g. 他的皮肤黑呼呼的！
5. One on words describing people from different countries
- e.g. 韩国棒子，e.g. 鬼佬, e.g. 日本鬼子, e.g. 洋鬼子

My only complaint about going to local gyms in China is people smoking (naked) in the dressing room!

I've always said 蘸在某东西里面 ("zhan" forth tone).
Which is better? Is there a difference between the context in which the "zhan"s are used?
P.s. I love eating 大闸蟹!

I was expected to give a mini speach to ”大爷“ the head of my girlfriend's extended family in Beijing last night. I wished him 生龙活虎, and all 30 family memebers there laughed at me!!! I was told later that what I said was inappropriate, and would be considered rude if they thought I knew any better 囧

e.g. "can you belive that the taxi driver didn't even know where the Forbidden City was?" HaHaHa
I wonder what a NYC taxi driver would do if a Chinese traveler kept telling him to take him to 时代广场 in Chinese!
