Can anybody tell me how high the fee of chinese estate agents for rental properties may be? I assume there should be a fixed percentage by law.
A couple of years ago I asked a friend about this matter but I din't really get the answer. I remember it went like this: for rents up to a certain amount the tenant doesn't have to pay the agent because he'd get paid by the landlord. As far as higher rents are concerned, should be the tenant who has to bear the entire amount of the fee or this cost must be shared with the owner of the apartment.
