Thanks guys for posting this. I have had the pleasure of trying to explain an Ironman to a Chinese person and it didn't go well. When explaining the distances between the three courses I don't think they believed me and thought that I had made a mistake in my Chinese and said some number that was larger than it should be. What's really great about knowing this topic in Chinese is that China has a Full Ironman every year. It used to be in Hainan but is now in Tianjin (why they changed location, I don't know but what a shame). I have already done one in the states and was planning on doing next years in Tianjin. At least now, I am a little more coherent on some of the terminology. I agree with pretzellogic on this but any bit helps. As always, you guys rock.
