what about particular sentences like 她走了 (she left)。 how do you fit 着 in there? 

ex: 她走着了给我们飞吻.

（she blew us a kiss as she left)

wait... according to what i was taught, when you 对 [shéi​] 很感兴趣, that roughly means you're into that person's life/affairs/character/personality. romance is off the table! no?

if i'm getting this right, 完成 is used as a transitive verb, but it's common to put the object before it, as in...

so.. don't let the word order fool you.  完成 takes an object.  does that sum it up?

hmm you make good points. however, i'd still reason that baseball has taken off everywhere it's been seriously introduced. same with cricket (S. Asia, S. Africa, Australia, Guyana). soccer remains most popular, however, only where baseball and cricket have not landed. i take that to mean that soccer's the bronze age of sport, with better ones arriving later. that English lads have soured on cricket and its dramatic, nerve-racking pauses only speaks to our declining times.

thinking globally's admirable, as long as you make fair judgments in the end. soccer's just not that fascinating a sport. nice to play as a kid, but adults might find something with more strategy interesting. North America, East Asia, and the Caribbean have chosen baseball. South Asia has chosen cricket. it looks more like soccer is the pizza of sports. it's something that pleases everyone, but isn't usually extraordinary.
