Hi Chinesepod's team.

I also have a question about this lesson.

In the last sentence, it is said:"做他的老婆、孩子不倒霉死了! "

Why is there the particule "不" in front of "倒霉" (which translates as unlucky).

I'm a little bit troubled by this, cause it seems to me that it should be translating by "not unlucky"...!!!


Or maybe there is a rethoric trick in this sentence?
