I LOVE the new Shanghai lessons, although I understand that they are mainly useful to the 20 million of us living in Shanghai. I just tried out the first lesson in the street -- the "guhzi muhzi" thing sounded to the salesperson as if I wanted to buy socks -- but we both had a great time. Good work, Chinesepod, for expanding our horizons! I think studying one different dialect will help us recognize the patterns in others, too.
