I also agree entirely with schg. The old style dialogues on varied everyday topics with added vocab, extension, exercise and grammar sections make Chinesepod a very useful learning tool from Newbie to Upper Intermediate (can't speak for beyond that yet). By all means mix in the odd lesson with a political theme (you always have done I think but not,in my experience, on such a specific topic) but please retain the format of friends/colleagues discussing a topic and give us back the additional lesson sections. It's what made Chinesepod so valuable to me as a learner. I can find the material covered in this lesson elsewhere.
