Lately the things I've been interested in include:
当 in contexts other than time. For example, I've noticed one definition being "to act as" and I'm starting to notice that kind of usage in TV shows.
I'm also hearing 之间 more lately.
应该 and 原来 when they mean things like "I would have thought that..." or "It formerly seemed that..."
I'm not putting any of this well.
