Hi everyone. If 不用了 (bu2young4 le) is the informal and friendly way of refusing something, does someone know the formal way?

Thanks John for your explanation (the link was also very helpful). Just one more question if you don't mind... What about multiple choice question number 4? Ta1 zhe4ci4 OR Zhe4ci4 ta1 .. Does Zhe4ci4 qualify as a time noun? Thanks in advance!

大家好！ This is my first time posting a question, and I was hoping that someone could provide a clear answer... I seem to be getting mixed up with the time words. I was marked wrong on the multiple choice question: 昨天我打死了... For some reason I was under the impression that either 昨天我 or 我昨天 are both grammatically correct.. any comments? Today's lesson was actually very useful for me... 今天我考得很差!
