If you use a mac it's relatively easy to add text to the course PDF. Paste text into a WP app and save as PDF. Open the new PDF doc and the CP course PDF in Preview, the default PDF reader for OS X. Toggle the view menu in the upper-left corner of the doc and select thumbnails. Drag and drop pages to combine in one doc.

I find it more convenient to study from PDF docs offline. I use this method to combine expansion and grammar docs with the course PDF.
