Sorry guys, but the reason thisdescription of the Met sounds like a Chinese museum is because this description is completely wrong. Not to be persnickety but:
You can definitely pay with credit card.
Tickets are $25.
There is no main hall. There is an entrance hall but the museum is so big it doesn't reallyhave amain hall.
The "main hall" has no exhibits, just a gift shop.
So it's not free to see exhibits in the main hall. Special exhibits are included in the price.
You don't need to follow a guide at the Med (that would be crazy, the Met is huge!)
I know it's just a vocab lesson but the Met's my favorite museum in the world. I just couldn't help correcting misconceptions especially since virtually every statement was wrong. (Well except for no flash photography and student discounts.) Otherwise, good vocab and lesson. Love ChinesePod!
