March 6, 2012 at 6:59 PMI love the format as well. Can I suggest, though, to not include the subtitles (especially in English) during the dialogue. I find it distracts from trying to understand on our own. Other than that, I agree that it made it easier for me to understand more than usual at this level. Thanks!

May 29, 2011 at 7:37 PMYou're not doing anything wrong...Beijing Standard Time is a cultural lesson that offers a discussion but nothing else. The guests may or may not speak Chinese. March 13, 2011 at 9:08 PMI would like to hear about the school system: is there the equivalent of preschool, K-12, the exam system and what happens to the students who don't make it. Are there vocational schools?
Also, the change from lessons to library tag was no big deal as it is just a word change...but I was extremely disappointed in the disappearance of the glossary feature. Now, it is called vocabulary, but those of us on a basic subscription need to upgrade to have access to it. I still like Cpod, but I feel it's going the way of the airlines: what was included in your ticket price is no longer available or only if you're willing to pay a fee...too bad!
