Did John say that the 'ca' sound is like a 'ts' sound?
my poor little ear/brain find it hardier to parse the sounds out when I'm told that it is like a sound at the END of a word like in 'kits' I find it easier if I am told it sounds like the BEGINNING of a word. For example I heard that the Mandarin 'ca' sound is like the word 'tze' like in Tze fly.
