June 30, 2012 at 5:09 PMGreat lesson - very useful vocab.
Regarding 坐得下,could you also say 空位? As in, "我的车没有空位"? Or does that sound too formal?
Thanks!

June 30, 2012 at 4:59 PMI really found this lesson useful both for the vocab and cultural explanation - thank you! Explains why my Chinese friends have always laughed at me when I've told them to buckle up.

April 3, 2012 at 5:01 PM大家好!
I would find the following topics very helpful. More than likely there have been some Qing Wen's in the past that have discussed these areas.
Resultative & potential suffixes - e.g. 看完,找到, 得起, including negatives.
Describing how you feel emotionally vs physically, e.g. when can I use 难过?
Getting the tone right when writing emails to new aquaintances and colleagues - e.g. not too informal nor too stuffy
Making travel arrangements over the phone with a friend or colleague, e.g. pick up & drop off times, telling someone that you can only fit 3 more people in your car/taxi, etc.
Time expressions, everything from how long it takes to set up a new user account to how long ago in the past you did something or when you plan to do something in the future.
谢谢你们!
