sometimes,Chinese also say：“沒有差”，It's OK! If you say 沒有差 whit Chinese，in normal conditions， they will understand what your mean.沒有差is a slang sometime.

But the 没有差别 is formal.

The 差=V. =differ from.

Actually the 别=N.=distinction; difference.
