你好

I have a question regarding the construction of a couple of phrases:

If I want to ask "Where do you live?" I'd do it like this:

你 住 宅 哪里 or Ni Zhu Zhai Nali

But when asking "Where do you work?" You use this structure in the samples:

你 宅 哪里 工作 or Ni Zhai Nali Gongzuo

Why not to use Ni Gongzuo Zhai Nali? Like in noun + verb + at + where
