Guangzhou Ikea is the best. People are sleeping on all the sofas and beds, students are at the desks and on beds doing homework, girls playing PSP's, even say a kid sleeping in a bathroom display.

I deal with factories daily, I have yet to see any one mistreated and have been to close to 100 factories in China. I deal with motorcycles so many of the factories are quite large and most of the employees are quit happy. I spend a lot of time with the regular workers and dont hear many complaints. Of course everyone wants more money (I do to) but with what Rmacphail said its hard to do.

Ill give an example:

- Customer in USA wants an ATV

- Chinese company quotes 550usd

- US Company asks for lower price

- Chinese company says no, not unless its a huge order as they are making thin margins as is.

- US company insists on lower prices, chinese company complies by using lower grade steel, or other cheaper parts.

- US company gets products and is angry its not well made.

- Chinese company tells them they wanted cheaper.

Its really a lose, lose situation. The worst part is China gets a bad rep in international news for lots of things that were by demand of the American buyer/importer.
