In my experience, people are more likely to fall asleep in a meeting if it is held after lunch.. Aparently, it is to do with the blood moving away from people's heads and towards their stomachs to aid digestion which, in turn, brings on a light-headed sleepy feeling..

So my advice.. if possible, make sure the meeting is in 上午 shangwu!!

Hey guys, just a question about today,tonight etc. I know John mentioned you can only use Jīntiān Wǎnshàng to say today night. But Google Translate tells me that tonight is Jīn wǎn 今晚?? Can we use both? Or, should I put Google Translate in the recycle bin? Hugh
