独自=单独?
Can I use both of the verb in these sentences?
昨天小猫单独/独自在家，把家里弄得很乱。
你怎么可以让小朋友单独/独自过马路呢？

I was wondering if you can post a couple of examples where we can just use 一个人 or 自己.
I'll try it out:
Here we can only use 自己:
是你自己不好。
It's your own fault.
自己的事自己做。
Take charge of one's own affairs.
Here we can only use 一个人:
我一个人想去旅游。
can I say?: 我一个人自己想去旅游。In these case would mean "I want go travelling by myself" (/maybe without a 旅游团 etc.).
