I'll second that., Jason. Great to have a variety of podcast voices. And good to have a bit more complexity in the elementary dialogue. Makes me learn more, without scaring me off ...

Welcome Dilu. Looking forward to many more.

When I was hanging out in Shanghai on a short trip, it was a tiny milestone when I successfully went to a laundry and did my transaction in Chinese. 洗衣服 xǐ yīfu. (It was high time!)

Yes, I would be interested in having that link. This year, I saw a great (sad and slow) documentary called 归途列车 Last Train Home (Le Dernier Train) by 范立欣 (Fan Li Xin). It's about parents from Sichuan who work in Guangzhou. In this film, they don't appear to have any free time at all. But it really focused on another issue (the relationship of parent and child) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Train_Home_%28film%29

Hi. I think there might be a mistake in the dictation section of the Exercises for this sentence:

(He gave me a book as a gift).

(The excercise expects 已 instead of 一)。

Thanks.
