October 7, 2017 at 12:46 AMSo one day we are sitting on the runway in Beijing. The plane is too heavy given the heat and wind direction to take off. It is almost 38deg C and the air conditioning is not working on the plane. So the crew starts handing out bottled water. One lady asks if they have any hot water.
Even in Shenzhen in the summer they serve baikaishui (boiling water) at restaurants where they do not serve some kind of tea.
