April 30, 2009 at 7:02 AMI really like the way this lesson worked for me. I like how you beat this word to death with so much repitition. It seems you are doing that more in the newer Qingwen lessons and for me at least, it makes a huge difference. Thanks!
I really hear this word a lot living in China and didn't know how to use it well.

May 14, 2007 at 4:41 AMLOL. That's the first time I've heard that (ma, ma, ma, ma) advertisement at the end of the lesson. I don't know what you call those little ads but they always bring a smile. BTW, who's the artist singing the "Yall gonna learn Chinese." that is heard in other lessons?

November 29, 2013 at 8:34 AMI think its unclear also. But I have encountered many speakers in china that speak in this unclear way. I think they won't become professional speakers but then this person is doing lessons here. I once had an employee that spoke so unclearly it sounded like he had some food in his mouth while speaking. I could hardly understand his Chinese compared to others...
