I like the pace of this lesson.  The dialog did not seem rushed, and I was able to keep up fine.

bill--

I'd love to have a pile of Children's books with pictures and characters, and little buttons to push to hear each word in *Chinese.* This can build to sentences and more "mature" books.

agreed.  I too would like a mature picture-book with buttons to push for audio.

changye, a1pi2, bababardwan,

是啊,学五笔真辛苦了。 跟中文每个方面一样辛苦! :)  可是我还喜欢。 因为呢,我觉得我打字的时候并不要跟屏幕互动。 还有一个优点是用五笔能帮我记助汉字。

我刚好来得及下载这个课程的额外内容!  An extra challenge---every little bit helps.

Incidentally, I think this marriage will end in divorce.

bababardwan: 我最喜欢的输入法称为五笔字型。 虽然比较难学,但是比起拼音来说有很多优点。比如说,用五笔的时候很少需要打数字。 这里有两个网址介绍给你:

Pete:

You seem to always have a way of finding exactly the right words for the translation.

Re "not exposing  yourself too much", I think the boss character in this series is doing a pretty poor job on that point.  His attempt at making subtle threats involves his admitting to commit crimes.  I predict that the mysterious organization he works for will need to dispose of him in a future episode.

Emma:

You're a good story teller, nice job!  But what's that I hear?  POPULAR DEMAND FOR ELEVEN MORE "What's the Story" episodes for the other animals?  =D

jdough422: "不该你管的事儿" is a noun-phrase topic. Like saying "[Concerning] things not of your direct concern", then "你少插手" is like saying "reduce your meddling". My translation of "少" as "reduce" is imperfect, but hopefully you get my meaning.

Matt,

I've been enjoying the series!  Any way you could make the pdfs small enough to print on U.S. Letter paper?  Thanks!
