Posted on: The Person Component
December 18, 2008, 11:28 AMOne area that theres some room for development in all of the chinesepod lessons but particularly this series is the PDF transcripts. You could do things like putting in characters with all the components in different colours to help people see what they are make up of or something to indicate stroke order for the people learning to write them. The current format of just listing a few vocab terms isn't particularly helpful for lessons of this type.

December 14, 2008, 12:49 PMyou mentioned some characters that had been simplified well beyond current usage but rejected. I'd be interested in seeing some examples- any idea where i'd find them?

November 01, 2008, 10:49 AMRe the copy DVDs, be a bit careful if anyone intends taking them back to their home country in their suitcases etc
Also be careful when in transit. I'm told Singapore is strict on people bringing illegal DVDs and CDs through there

October 31, 2008, 11:08 AMWhat is the most unusual place/circumstance you've studied CPod?
When i was travelling i tried to listen to lessons relevant to the place i was in. I listened to lessons on London, Paris, New York and Hong Kong while in those places. I also listened to a lot of dear amber while driving in the canadian rockies.

October 22, 2008, 12:01 AMJames, Do you have a paid suscription or just the free iTunes feed? The free feed has recently changed to being only newbie lessions and news. If this is the feed you are using, you will need to update to a paid subscription. If you have a paid subscription you may need to change your feed preferances.

January 19, 2009, 01:21 AMmju765tgb, it sounded like the 2 elementary lessons was for this week only, not a permident feature of chinesepod. I wouldn't worry about not getting any more newbie lessons.
