I've practised my scant Mandarin with people from all over the mainland, Taiwan, and SE Asia.  I find when trying to understand people I have to basically treat z/zh s/sh f/h c/ch as completely interchangeable.  It's very frustrating, and makes the language even more homophonic that it is already.  *sigh*

Hi, is that a typo in the vocab? ie should be "biaozhun" instead of "biaozhuan" for 标准
