Pete, please dont't mind. I was just thinking about it because in Japanese there are some phrases, which are usually used by foreigners but not from the Japanese themselves.  I guess there will much more things with which I am going to blame myself in China than to say "ni hao ma" or not ^^ . I was just thinking about it when I was reading the comments in the "qing wen" lesson and I told my friend about it and he was very very surprised  :) .

It's me again...

My friend asked his chinese girlfriend who is living in Beijing and she said, that 你好吗 actually is standard in China and she really is wondering, where you get the information from o.O ^^ .

Thank you Pete.

Interessting, because I asked a friend who is often in Wudang and Beijing and he said that the Chinese often use 你好吗 not only to foreigners.

Hello!

I stumbled over the "qing wen" lesson about "ni hao". There it was told, that the usage of "ni hao ma" isn't that correct. I am wondering why it is tought in this lesson? Sorry, I am just a absolutely beginner and I am not that good in English too.

But I have to say that learning with ChinesePod is funny, really and you are able to learn the most useful thing by learning a language... to speak! Great job!

Greetings from Germany and thank you for your work!

Ahh... thank you Pete. That was helpful!

Well, I am just using the trial version and I am thinking about a further subscription. But I am wondering how the payment will work from Germany. But I will check it :) .

Hello!

I am a totally beginner and I am wondering why the "ni" isn't used in the sentence after "qingwen". Is it a common rule not to use the pronoun in a "qingwen" sentence?

Thanks for reading,
