I found it very interesting that you mentioned the difference between the 2 tones wēn and wěn. I would like to hear more of  it from time to time in the lessons.

And I think it is best to wēn before wěn     :-)

Thanks, I understand the 事 is not soemthing from "be". Am I wrong with

是 谁 ? I am not very good with the Chinese script/symbols.

in the dialogue the director asked 什么 是? I learned that it is 是 at first,

for example  Who is it? 是 谁 ? Or does it not matter which way around.

Hi Jenny, Hi Ken,

good lesson for me. I always wanted to know what to say instead of "Ni hao ma?". I was told that this is the question, when you are really care about to know. And I also wasn't sure, what to answer on Hǎo Jiǔ bù diàn.
