Is there a mistake in this lesson's pdf?

Refering to the line: 我是个负责任的司机。The pinyin reads: wǒ shì ge fù zé rén fù de sī jī. Is 负责任 supposed to be fù zé rèn? That's what nciku says. Listening to the dialogue I thought they were saying 负责人, but I assume that isn't correct?

Thanks,

Thanks guys. That was a nice lesson for someone, like me, just graduated from elementary. I think I nearly got all of that the first time. It probably helps have a predictable story line to follow.

I have to agree with Chris3's sentiment. I think the main reason for the difficulty in moving from ele to intermediate is the structure of the lessons.

The ele lessons, like the Newbie before them, are very repetitive within the lessons, which is really helpful in learning new words. You get the dialogue repeated 6 times, plus a translation run through with Ken and Jenny. However, as soon as you move to Intermediate, the dialogue is only played once at beginning and end, and there is no complete translation within the lesson. I find these nearly impossible to do just by listening.

I've done nearly 150 ele lessons and I think I study them fairly thoroughly. I listen to all of them at least twice and also go back and look at the pdf for words I don't get. I feel like the ele lessons are really made to be able to followed just by listening, whereas for the intermediate lessons you need to have the pdf right in front of you just to follow it.

I think the content of intermediate lessons is fine, and I can handle them with the pdf, but that doesn't actually suit how I use CP lessons. Can we ask you guys for a bit more repetition of the dialogues, and/or a proper translation of the lines during the lessons? Is really hard to follow when the lesson teaching sort of cherry-picks it's way through the dialogue.

I just don't think Chris and I are alone in this.

Thanks,

Matt
