June 9, 2009 at 3:03 AM@Raygo Exercises will receive an upgrade in the not-too distant future. I know it's been on the cards for a while but rest assured, it will happen. This change is just around the corner and it's part of a bigger improvement.
Other news, Marco D from ItalianPod, also the director/producer of The Menu Stealer has left Praxis in order to pursue his passion - a Master's Degree in film making/new media, in Hong Kong. We wish him all the best and will miss his quirky presence in the office.

June 9, 2009 at 1:45 AM@misterjess I was sooo close! After I came to, I managed to insinuate myself into a hotpot party - despite my bruised ego, at least I left the restaurant with a full stomach.

June 7, 2009 at 2:10 PM@sean_123456 Great info, however, 拼音 in written as pīnyīn in pīnyīn and not as 'pingying'. 音标 is yīnbiāo, not ‘ying biao'. 问一下,你是中国哪里的?:-)
@user7435 I know Shenyajin mentioned it to a Poddie recently, I'll see if she can tell you tomorrow.

June 7, 2009 at 12:53 PM@sean_123456 Hey that was really nice of you to help out.
@ouxiansheng I should really take note of you diligence, I QC these lessons but I'm listening mainly for editing errors. I think I'll start combining studying with QCing. Perhaps keeping a list like you did with the times, then publishing it in the comments may not only help me QC better, but also study, help out out non-Chinese Poddies, and also assist our Chinese native Poddies by providing them with opportunities to help out and simultaneously practice their English (and/or teaching skills).
AWESOME!!!

June 7, 2009 at 12:47 PM@Raygo Dude, you could just download the dialogue itself separately and save the time with the editing, if you want to that is. PM me if you need help.

June 7, 2009 at 12:43 PM@Mystic I've sent a copy of your comment to Gulam, I hope he gets back to you tomorrow (Monday).
@rodrigues Glad you enjoy using ChinesePod. Yell out if you have any suggestions or issues. :)
@chanelle77 Does the HTC run Android OS? There's the Android (ChinesePod) app that you could try out. Guess you just missed the promo, bummer. Send me a message before your next subscription, it doesn't hurt to ask when the most opportune time to sign up is. :) Doing never ending shows, whilst keeping fans happy, has it's downside too. As resources are not infinite, I thought releasing shows as 'seasons' would better, giving us the flexibility to provide a greater range of fresh content for your enjoyment.
@Babakkhareji No show can ever 'replace' another show, especially when each new show is a different genre to the one preceeding it. In answer to you question, there will be new shows on offer in the near future.
@chris the internet in China is a fickle lass.

June 7, 2009 at 1:40 AM@Calkins Yes, it does. That is a page that anyone can access, people who haven't registered, or those whose trial have expired and would like to check out the premium perks once again.

June 9, 2009 at 4:19 AM@sfrrr We are focusing on the major smartphones first: iPhone, Android, and possibly Blackberry. We are considering opening up the API for the ChinesePod Quick review so that 3rd party developers can develop the app for other platforms, such as WinMo etc.
