A harmful kind of 'I really couldn't watch it' harmed. I really couldn't watch it. or something else?? can anyone help me?

July 6, 2007 at 8:52 PMI don't know either, my understanding is that gao3 means to 'make', in which case if it means 'make' there should be a word after gao3 which means confused, ie 'make confused'. I'm confused.

July 12, 2007 at 8:25 AMThe thing that is confusing me is the de particle, is it attached to the wo and making it past tense, as in le, or is it linking the wo to the rest of the sentence and modifying it. Sorry I didn't totally follow your explanation in the podcast.
