The difficulties of these two new lessons are way off in my opinion. This one is way too easy for intermediate. It is almost 100% English. Also,I couldn't believe it when she was explaining why谁 goes at the end of the sentence, or the meanings of 刚, 那, 从, 到 all these very basic words. I felt like I was starting from the beginning all over again! All intermediate learners should know that stuff by now, that belongs in the newbie or elementary lessons, please don't waste our time explaining that in intermediate. The Intermediate has always been about 50/50 English/Chinese and only explains the more difficult parts of the dialogue. Please try to use simple Chinese to explain topics as much as possible! We are trying to learn Chinese here. I also feel the difficulty gap between this intermediate lesson and the upper intermediate one released a week ago is gigantic and definitely not the same as in the old lessons. How are people supposed to go straight from this to the almost entirely Chinese upper intermediate lessons? I think it is important for Chinesepod to have well defined difficulty levels and stick to them. I am disappointing but I understand this is their first lesson, and I hope they get better in the future. I will be keeping my subscription, good luck to the new hosts!
