chemical            化学        huàxué

Part of speach being key here, it can be used as an adjective.  For the noun "chemical", I would probably go for "化学制品".  Maybe there's a more concise word but it eludes me :)

The little blurb at the end of the podcast was amusing as well.

Oh, and also, if you search for "Personal Trainer" this will not come up as a search result.  Maybe there's something wrong with the tags, but if I search "gym", I only get one lesson, Intermediate's: Going to the Gym

I'm really into the leather radical.

The 'text version' link on this pdf produces this error:

This actually happens a lot, is there any way Chinesepod could do some wholesale fixes to the pdfs?  I keep having to post each time I run into this problem.

I like 宝贝的贝(as long as you're female).  I'm not very good at telling the difference first glance, apart from the obvious ones.

that'd be a good lesson... how to differentiate male from female names.

I don't buy blaming the game companies, not one bit.  It's not a drug, it's not chemically addictive.  What's their fault in all this?  Making money?  Well, that's capitalism... making games too addictive?  What does that even mean?  I know, for me, I WANT an addictive game.  I want a game that makes me want to play it... if they could quantify addictiveness on a box, I'd aim for the highest one.

It's all self-control in my opinion.

Naw, not there... not sure what happened.  I like the new one better anyway :)

Believe me, it was probably my fault and not CP's.  I was just sure I'd hit 'post' and it didn't show up -- I'm not sweating it.

Aw man, CP ate my comment :(  It's never as good as the first time around, I always forget stuff!  Anyway,

His name is way better than mine, if only he knew what I went through!

On a language note, I wanted to write something to the effect of "The ink wasn't even dry before someone said that the name I'd given him sounded like a little girls name".  I originally wrote "我那个时候墨没干就有人告诉我.."  Anyone got any ideas on that?  Maybe a 四字词 or a 成语?  Thanks!
