Posted on: Why is everyone looking at me?

Why do they say wahr for wan (play)?  Shouldn't they put that character on the end if they are going to pronounce it that way?

Also, when I take do the exercises and they have the audio part where you listen and then type what you hear, what are they looking for.  They always mark me wrong even if the pinyin in right.  Should I leave out spaces?  I tried putting in the number for the tones.  I can't figure out what they want.

I have a million questions, and I'm new, but I will start with one. 

If you say, "I want to go to bed" wouldn't it be:

wo3 yao4 qu4 shui4. 

And if you say, "I am going to go to bed" wouldn't it be:

wo3 qu4 shui4
