February 13, 2010, 05:36 AMHi roderick. The influence of the Culture Revolution has ebbed in chinese minds since we focused to the economic development. So, those terms sound funny to me. And the connotation of 黑五类 which is popularly shifted to:
Jew's-ear, kelp, black soybean, black sesame, purple rice, black-bone-chicken. Now we can see some of the result.
