I can`t think of any German who`s called Jack. Jack White chose to call himself like that because it sounds English and there might indeed be some children called Jack in eastern Germany (at the beginning of the 1990s, some parents discovered American Christian names as an option). German versions would be Jakob or Johannes. At the most, Jack would be a nick name (and borrowed from some Angloamerican actor etc.). - If you say that this intermediate lesson is relatively easy to follow, I will jump for it; my interest is awakened!
