Does the female in this dialogue (not Dilu, but the one in the dialog) have a giant marble in her mouth.  She sounds as if she has a lisp or something - it is tremendously distracting to me, but perhaps I am overly superficial.

Super useful vocab.  As usual, good dialogue.  All falls under the rubric of "techno".  Should probably write in Chinese as this is a super high-level lesson comment page, but what can I say, my writing in Chinese is nothing short of abominable...sigh

hey Pearltopete-

Am I mistaken or is "outlaws of the marsh" also translated as "the water margin"?  When I was in Japan it seemed that this was a very popular Chinese classic that is also the subject of many tattoos that might be popular on those types in Japan that might want some sort of anti-establishment, heroic tattoos.  I believe the heroes of "the water margin" were also the subject of numerous woodblock prints in the edo period.  Are they the same work?

GOOD GOD!! First comment!! YEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!

I feel like a sofa....All I can say is that raising a child on bird saliva is so much more nutritious than mother's milk...I mean, birds are known for their intelligence, right?  "Bird brain" in english is a compliment, right?

This may be off the point of anything - and I'm sorry I don't care - but does the psycho xiansheng in this dialogue sound like an impatient fat guy to anyone else?  IS that how he's supposed to sound?  Do you suppose that is why his wife rejected him?  Maybe he should be shopping for a gym membership rather than life insurance.....

Am I really the first comment?  Too good to be true, I think...
