Thanks for getting back so quickly zhenlijiang and matt_c!

Maybe when reading through these comments I began to feel like an outsider, as though I had just stumbled upon a "members club". I am sure that the coments and help given to each other is great. Perhaps last night I was feeling a bit alone in a big country.

My main problem with learning both Chinese and English is that I REALLY want to do it now! Anything less than instant perfection is a real pain.

Reading the above it looks a lot like there is some kind of clique here. Does everyone know each other? Birthdays, dogs, what you had for dinner yesterday, who you are going out with next week... sorry but just arriving here I get the impression that this is used as a chat room rather than a discussion platform. Some really good stuff in here and on other lessons but too much drivel.
