June 2, 2010 at 10:14 AMI am not happy with this lesson because these chemicals/insecticides are extremely toxic -- not just to the insects -- but to all life on this planet. We get exposed to these, it runs off into the water supply eventually making its way to the oceans and ends up accumulating in our sea life -- which many people eat. And there are natural alternatives: for example, Boric Acid is a natural and non-toxic insecticide, which can be used extremely effectively against insects of all sorts and does not contaminate the environment like these toxic chemicals. http://alsnetbiz.com/homeimprovement/boricdirections.html

June 2, 2010 at 10:18 AMAll yes, and I use a special net to block out the microwave radiation from cell phone towers, WiMax, and so on, which is very similar to a mosquito net in fact -- it just blocks out something much more dangerous to our health than your average mosquito. http://www.electrosmogshielding.co.uk/prodtype.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=116&numRecordPosition=1
