Virtual appetite whetted, I tracked down the Xiao Long Bao ride (phatsh.com [blog]), an informal bike rally thru Shanghai. Its gold medal went to Ling Long Fong, silver to Jia Jia Tang Bao with two Nanjing bao shops getting bronze. Your piece really captured the flavour of the city - even if my ears need cleaning out.
